The wall hanging is hand embroidered by Mia Pawau who has lived for 2 years at the Kajsiab Shelter with her husband. They are now back in their village and opened a shop. They have 4 happy and healthy children. Mia Pawau still works in the Women’s Workplace sometimes to sell embroidery work from herself or the other women in her village. Mia Pawau loves to make new style art showing the traditional way of life of the Hmong people in the mountains of Laos.
